Knight Rider lights

Mostly dealing with electronics and pcbs and modifying them, all the things that make electrical-engineers tick and the rest of us cringe in fear.

The long two blue wires go to the POT.
I wanted to mount that so externally I can change the rate.
Just have to cut off the extra legs. Then plasticlize it.

one could attached the POT (somehow) to the motor's speed.
the faster you go, the faster it scans. (and the opp, slow down, it slows down).

As to mass produce...that's up to Ph2t, it's his design. I just copied it.
(idle fingers, idle mind)

I ain't. that's way I'm shrinking the LEDs down to the smallest ones I can get a hold of.

Also, you mentioned the aussie cop car....
I'm also gonna use the timer setup to do cop lights (steel yer idea, again).
I'm thinking the parking lights (tail/front), bubblegum ball on top, etc.

Here's the link to the indicator lights:

http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthread ... tor+lights

This is the circuit I used for the indicator lights. It's basically a two transistor alternate flasher but with two switching transistors for left and right.

Parking lights are cool. I started investigating the brake lights. When you stop they are at full brightness, when you move (be it fwd ot rev) they would dim a bit. The headlights would be similar. Dimmed when stopped, full brightness when moving.
