Hmm... would this work?

Mostly dealing with electronics and pcbs and modifying them, all the things that make electrical-engineers tick and the rest of us cringe in fear.

hmm... working on a zip zap for a friend last night, when i came across a capacitor in my 'bit box'... just wondering - what if i replaced the battery with a capacitor..?

:???: Anyone?
I think it should work.. theoretically speaking, that is...

most likely not.

the cap won't be able to hold enough juice to get it going unless you're talking about one of thosesuper caps and even thing it prolly won't work....

don't let me stop you though. half of the stuff done here over the years was with thowing caution and sanity (and $$) to the wind..... lol

Caps discharge at a much higher rate than batteries. it might be good for a speed run, but I don't think it will last long enough to even try to steer.

But like he said, try it :-o
