Pimp’en to the MAX update 2

Post by steelwoolghandi »

Ok I was going to wait till the end of the year contest but then I thought what if it’s a contest with a theme and the car I am working on will not work? Then I though hey I could still enter this car as long as its not another contest winner right?

So here is a work in progress I got this idea from Pube Joolz or at least while talking to him and I figured while he is in the Movie and TV car mode I would work on one car I have always wanted to build.

The Car is from Mad Max 2 The Aussie Interceptor or in the U.S. it’s the Ford Falcon.

Then what car to build it out of? I chose the Skyline body it has many of the same features I needed to build the Interceptor. I got several pictures to go by and after some cutting and putty work its starting to take shape.

Here is what I have done so far more to come……

first 2 pics of what the Mad Max car looks like.

Now for the cutting and putty work here is the start.

At first it really broke my heart to see the disemboweled skyline in your pics (that particular skyline is one of my favorite of all bodies).

But as I see your progression, it's getting more and more kickass...So I forgive your trespess against the skyline! 8)

Can't wait to see the finished product!

Man we're starting a trend here! :-D

That car is awesome! Love all the small details. Can't wait to see the final output.

Well as of presstime i'm meeting with the agent of Tommy Lee Jones so i could do his car in the coming weeks!

Also, i have the rights now to get dirty with my own version of Tumbler and asking a clairevoyant to talk to the spirit of John Belushi to give his ok on one of his infamous mobile.

Can't guess what are those cars? I'll post the progress in the coming days!

But right now kudos to SWG for a great job!

Don't forget to tuck a little sawed-off shotgun under the rear bumper!

That'll be cool as the other side of the pillow man.
But I'm with Namuna, hurts to see the the skyline all chopped up.
But it's for a good cause, so it's all good.

Aight, so who's gonna do the Coyote from Hardcastle & McCormick?
