Just Slipped into another hobby....sorta !

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

I wish I had a real Cobra 427. I'd drive it even if it is freezing cold outside. 1/4 mile in 12.3 anyone?

Someone ditched a pile of those boxes on front of my Walmart. So I shoved them under bush and grabbed them on the way out. They make great display cases for my bits. :-o

I just checked, I hate to say it but he's right. Bits fit in the cases. So I decided to push the extreme: Zips fit in them, but just barely!

Yeah, those BigLots ones are better. Slightly larger and stackable. I had a few from TRU that had hinged fronts so you could get at the car easier.

Whatever direction you go with cases it always rounds out to about a buck a car, and that would be too expensive for my whole collection. One day (hopefully sooner than later) I'm gonna go to Home Depot and get me some sheets of poly-carbonate, and make me a clear display case. I think it'll be much cheaper in the long run.

I have seen where some of these stores go out of biz and they sell off display cases for real cheap that might be a better outlet for a display case.

Even one of the clear round ones that turn in the middle!
