Piant problem, please help!

Got a question about painting or decals? Using an air brush or rattle cans? Wanna learn how to paint flames and take a good picture of it? It's all in here.

Piant problem, please help!

Post by Swavey »

I decided to paint my chassis.... but in doing so (brush now spray) it went on a little thick in spots and dosnt look perfect like i had hoped, heh.... anyone got any suggestions to smooth it out? would find sand paper smooth it nicely, without giving it the old look it once had... or a second coat, or start over somehow, lol... I am dasperate!

thanx in advance for the help........

try wet sanding it down until its smoove.
use super fine grit wet sanding paper.

it might dull the paint a tad, but you can put a nice thin coat over it when you're done or just clear coat it.

good luck

To level a surface you want to block sand. Try using a pink eraser to wrap your sanding paper around as a sanding block.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
