Sad Day....

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

Sad Day....

Post by DarkTari »

Pimps, I was in Radio Shaq last week payin off "Da Bill", decided to go browsin, and of course my first
instinct was to look at ZipZaps. All that was left was the Transformers series (7) and one lonely truck
body set :(

Reflexes made me buy that lonely 'ol set...... .99 :-o

The dayz of finding those barain Bits, Clones & ZZ's were over a while ago, but this just
brings it back home all over again.......... :crybad:

So I guess I'll hafta rely off my stash from here on out :-?

My Clones............. :(

My ZipZaps........... :-?

Yeah, they need to come out with some more. They should have promoted the Speedracer with Zips, but I guess Tomy technically has(or had?) those rights right now
For you, a Sad day my A$$.
You have enough to last all of us for years. lol

You wanna trade a Herbie or two for a good number of my stuff? :???:

Ha! Yeah, a sad day for you...But a damned happy day for your wallet for whatever storage costs you're payin for all those damned boxes full of booty!

Hold on for a while longer man, we're 3/4 of the way there before the next micro-scale cycle begins again.

...Judging by the past, there's a 10 year cycle that occurs with this hobby. The BitChar-G hit in about Oct 2001. So that means the "next wave" should hit in 2011. 3 years is a ways away, but as far as technology has come in the last few years I'm thinking this next wave should introduce some hot shit!

Hey DT, I think you should just rent me one of those Herbie bodies. I'll return it unharmed but it might "accidently" fall into a silicone mold and get replicated a few dozen times

Seriously though, if you ever do decide you want to start selling off parts of the collection I've been dieing for a herbie body to clone.

I hear that. I miss just tearing stuff apart and messing with it to see if it would work. Now I find myself hesitating before ripping the guts out of an SE just for a reduction box. I have some stashed but I don't want to waste.

My hydro seer mod isn't really realistic anymore as it requires 2 extra steering gears. Hopefully I'll come up with a better system for steering before my next build.
The devil made me do it the first time, the second time I done it on my own...
