Got my Formula 34
Insanely Fun! This thing’s performance is outstanding, here’s what I ran it with;
I tested with a tomy 50 mah battery double charged
9.86:1 gear ratio
Bit racer soft tires in the front
Bit char-g stock mediums in the rear
Crazy torque, blazin’ top end combine for a sick motor… I love this thing, I think more than my R-spec… nah j/k. It’s got crazy speed and stability in the corners, I love the acceleration to… I think I’m going to switch the gear ratio to 12:1 for more acceleration. Plus the friggin thing is damn fast for linoleum, taming it down won’t be that noticeable.
There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s one of my favorites now.
I tried it in my Wild char-g too; it zips around pretty good for a wild now… probably comparable to a bit w/ 2.2. (again a double charge is a must). The added torque of the motor gives it that extra umf to get going.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Yea no kidding shypo, the thing sat on my shelf for the longest time until i got a faster motor for it. The first day i got it was so stoked, then i charg'd and ran it for 30 seconds... not that it stopped running after 30 seconds, i was SO pissed that it went so slow that i couldn't continue playing with it!Shypo wrote:man my wild goes sooo damn slow, i thought the stock thing was a micro B0.5, then i put my 3.0 in, it was ok, now i have sa 3.5 and it runs like a bit 2.6 or 2.8
the wilds are soo damn cool
But now I got the cure for the common SLOW lol, formula34... YEAH BABY!

Yo pimps-
Here's an interesting fact about the Formula 34 that makes it a little different than other motors: it coasts. I've tried a lot of motors, and the Formula 34 from Tiny and the Perfection 3.8 from Toy East are the only 2 motors I've noticed this important characteristic with. If you are actually doing some real racing, the ability for your car to coast a little when you let off the gas does wonders for handling in corners, and allows you to hop back on the gas without doing a torque donut. Check it out, peeps.
