Make a foam rubber grip for your SE controller
My SE controller cramps my hand up, and I wanted a longer handle. So here's what I did, I picked up some of this Crayola Model Magic stuff from the grocery store. It's a modeling compound that dries into foam rubber.
I used two of the individual packs that come inside. I smashed and formed it around the base of the controller, and then formed the handle part. After I had it the way I wanted, I took an exacto knife and trimmed the edge to clear the important stuff, also to give it a nice straight edge.
This is the finished product.
I wanted to use black, but that only came in the deluxe set, for 10 bucks. The set I got was mismarked for a buck, so I settled for white. I might try to color it later.

No I didn't have to glue it (yet). I squished about 3/4 of an inch around the bottom to hold it. Then I had to cut it away on the front and where the trigger is, and I think there is about 1/4 of an inch left in those areas.DriveWRX wrote:Did you have to glue it onto the controller?
How's it holding up so far?
It's plenty durable for regular use, but I'm afraid one good smack will knock it off. We'll see.
I colored it with a marker, and it looks good, and isn't coming off on my hand at all.

What if you took a paintball gun grip and glued it on. Its about the same width of a paintball gun handle. A dye sticky grip like this http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/01 ... 712-4.html would be mighty comfy. (just to let you know its just the grip im talkin about, not the trigger frame.
