I'm chargin up my new Puchi Maru right now...
Right now I'll give my initial impression...When I get a chance to put my tools to it, I'll have more detailed info.
I ordered it from Ehobbies/RCModels for $58 (with the shipping)...It was packed well and received without incident, good for RCModels.
The TX
Nice, solid. Uses 8xAA batts (just like the Perfex from Mini-Z). The Crystal is big as a friggin BRICK, don't know the deal about that.
It's got;
- Steering trim
- Throttle trim
- 3 way power switch; On, Off and Charge
- Power on LED indicator
- Charge Button (Press it to start charging)
- Peak charge detector built in (if you press the charge button quick, it quick charges, press it longer and it'll long/full charge)
Instructions
2 pages; Page 1 is the Japanese version, and Page 2 is the English version. Not exactly comprehensive, but it'll give you enough to run the car
The Car
I bought the Red Vitz, but I'd wager that it don't look much differnt from the Hondas...Which is to say, Bulky and so very GAY lookin.
I suppose there's SOMEBODY out there that likes the way these things look...But I'm thinking since the prices are droppin there ain't many, I know I ain't crazy about it. The car DEFINITELY screams for some mods in the 'looks' department.
But as far as the performance? Smooth. Being fully Propo, this thing drives real nice. It ain't gonna win any speed races though, but I suspect they didn't set it up for speed since it's rather bulky and would probably barrel roll like a mother at even the slightest turns.
The Bottom Line
$50(plus shipping) for a TINY, FULLY PROPO set, is a good deal. Pretty it up (like with some better rims) and throw an additional cell in there (for speed) and this little guy could be your new favorite car to drive!
Pics and more detailed tech info to come.

Alright all you crack babies, here's some pics...

http://tinyrc.com/gallery/puchi
I don't know what the hell the deal is, but I've had to bust apart the goddamn steering components TWICE already because the thing locked-up.
What's worse is I've taken that thing COMPLETELY apart and still can't pinpoint the problem area...I did enjoy bustin that shit apart though, gettin yur hands dirty is the ONLY way to learn baby.
Did a little more running around with it, the comparison of the Puchi with a Bit that has a 2.2 motor in it is about right...It sure as hell ain't fast (stock anyway). Definitely nice for running on the table and small tracks though...Real nice steerin/throttle control.
