DarkTari Collection adds another........

Post by DarkTari »

I remember when TE first introduced the Ferrari 360 Modena Body. I rushed out and ordered all 4 colors,
when I got them and mounted them to a chassis, I thought they sucked!!! Body was too short and tall.
Well I took one of those bodies and gave it away in one of the 1st BitPimp contests. I took the second
one and created something that made me like this body a whole lot more.
So enough background, here it is, didn't name this one so voila!
Whadaya think?

I wanted one of them bodies, I wasn't kidding when I was saying I was aiming for second place in that contest.

That sucks to hear they weren't that nice, but I love what you've done to yours. That looks great!

So do those bodies fit the Thunder Charger chassis, or are those just TC rims? Like the touch with the yellow dots on the rims.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Thanx Pimps!
I started this to look slightly different, then I went surfing and found a
few pics of a real 360 Spyder so I had to change the mod a lil.
This is what I was going for:

Then I saw the roll bars and said fuck it, I ain't moddin this mug no mo!
I tried to make it as authentic as possible while adding a touch from
Team DarkTari (body kit). I did get the exhaust & wheel caps right!
I also altered the body kit to look more conformed, molded in so to speak.
There is a tuner called HaMann that does Ferrari after market tuning
so there are body kits for these things!
Oh and I like blood red interiors with silver.
Glad you Pimps like! Appreciate the Cudos!

Thanx Cavey,
I just used the wheels off an old TC. They are the closest thing I have right
now to the original Ferrari wheels. Chassis is MicroSizer w/4.2 King.

whoaa nelly! how the hell did I miss this! damn mate that car is just great. I love the silver finish. Is that a tamiya paint #? I've been looking for a good silver finish that holds it's own once a gloss is applied to it.

Great work again man. You are truely the bodymod playa in the western world!

Thanx ph2t,

The Silver is Standard Testors in a (Ashamed to say) German Silver (on an Italian Car) ! The paint came out great, and the blood red interior which I feel needs to be with silver set it off....

Hey Thanx Pimp, where you been? How was the Holiday's???
I've aquired a few new RC toys which had pulled me away from the Zips. Been toying with my new EMAXX, Mini T, Mini Z Monster, and MR-02. Most of my custom work has been on Xmods lately. I will be starting up my custom Zips again though.

My holiday was great, thanks. How about everyone else?

I don't know how I missed this the first time around, and then I saw it in the gallery. One of the best costom body mods I've seen. I also really like the silver. It's lighter than usual, almost the same color as my real car (BMW arctic silver).
