Check out this body! hotwheels went plastic!

Post by Sporttracguy »

Well i picked up this hotwheels car because of the wheels. After taking it out of the package i realized it was PLASTIC! Its not often you see a great paint job like this on a hotwheels that isnt diecast. Anyways, its the perfect length for a zipzap as far as the wheel wells go but it will require some grinding on the chassis motor mount that sticks out. I just flipped over a chassis because i havent ground down the stock mounts that were on the inside of the body yet,, just thought i would shair,, its certainly due for a new paint job but its a pretty mean looking car

ha ha,, you dont like the goofy looking roof scoop/T top huh lol,, yeah i agree, its a little funny looking. They had a rendering of the car (i think its from a hotwheels cartoon or something) and it looked alot cooler,, it didnt have the orange plastic widows either, they were a reflective silver instead

it looks good from the back,, ill just fill in either side of that roof scoop and match it with the windshield line,, should fix it right up

My local Wally’s sucks, I spent hours fighting past the BDKs (Budget Daycare Kids (drop um off in the am and pick them up in the pm), and some get who used a shopping cart, his 280+ wife, and two spare brats to block off the isle so he had plenty of room to repeat “which one do you like” 10,000 times to a one-year-old, and couldn’t find anything with decent wheels yet alone made of plastic.

Now I have to go back and look again, oh well maybe the idjet has figured out that his one-year-old really doesn’t care what it looks like as long as he can put it in his mouth and choke on it.
