Anybody done a micro bike?

I was just wondering if anyone has done anything with one of the micro size motorcycles? I was thinking of trying a pro-stock stlye bike. I know I cant be the first to think of this but I can't find much with the search (one project not completed) so I thought maybe somebody'd remember a previous post or something.

Yeah that does look a little shity, thanks for the warning. I've been thinking of trying to build one from high carbon steel rod (piano wire) with zip internals, if I can find a tiny (real low power gyro). the zip engine would drive the rear wheel and the steering would swing the battery (hanging near the bottom of the frame rails) from side to side to change direction. being a drag bike it wouldn't have to turn that tight.

As I remember, the genuine Microsizer motorcycle was a two-wheeled thing, not 4 like that one.

The MicroSizer Moto is two wheeled. Its not that bad of a drive. It's nothing to write home about, but it does turn fairly well and stays upright while doing so.

The worst thing about it, is the POS controller. It like a handle bar grip with a button on it for steering.

You charge it, set it down, it GOES. The one button on the TX is steering. Its all or nothing on speed.

Not a bad toy if you can find one cheap ($5-10) and have the OPEN area for it to roam freely.

Got the driveline kinda sorted out but I'm going to have to rethink the steering. The clone car magnets are to weak to swing the battery (or even a small bolt) enough to make this turn. Ayway here's what I've got so far.

Jeez, if I'd know how much sanding and cutting dust would show up in the pics I would have dusted the thing before I took the pics. I'd reshoot but my battery need recharged. It is a little bigger than I wanted but it was the only way to fit everything.

It's looking great so far. But in your quest for 'drive', you can't forget about balance and left/right weight distribution.

Yeah, I've got to figure out where everything goes so I can counterbalance it all. I'm even toying with the idea of a small gyro but havent found one small enough yet. although I did have one of the early 1/6 scale honda rc bikes from kosho and the "gyro" effect they touted was the wheels! you had to help it get moving but then it worked ok (sort of). but thanks for the input.
