General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

has anyone ever thought of making a micro controller that has a built in charger. because there is a lot of air inside the controller.

The controller that comes with the "Motor Works" car is pretty damn small.. About the same size as a pack of cigs or smaller..

I don't think it has a charger in it though.. :(

You could take a chargeing base, wire it straight to the batteries in the Motorworks controller, double stick tape it to the back of the controller, and BAM! you've got a mini controller with a charger suitable for dual cells. No timer, but I don't need no stinkin' timer.

I thought the MW micro controller was pretty groovy until I tried to use it, it is to small, heck Bit controllers are too small really. I've got a Nikko controller that is about the size, and shape of a Playstion controller. I've been meaning to see if it works with any of my cars.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

all you need is a buck and a little piece of cardboard. maybe some glue if you want to keep it from flopping around. increases range a little even.
