The somewhatly less gay Puchi Maru...

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

The somewhatly less gay Puchi Maru...

Post by Namuna »

Along with filling in on some missing Phat Boyz, I picked up a 'donor' Hot Wheels 'Petersen's Custom Classic Trucks' car (for the wheels).

Now my Puchi looks Ghetto Fabulous!

The only problem is this is my first attempt at a wheel mod and I did a SHITTY job of mounting the wheels! Goddamn thing wobbles like an Irishman at a pub on payday.

Anyway, have a peep:

I went to a Target and that was the last one, with acceptable wheels. Cost like $3

You know, you never really realize just how SHITTY the wheels are on all these stupid diecast cars until you're SPECIFICALLY lookin to buy one with a good set! I was hoping to find Jada City 'Dub City' sets, but I guess Target doesn't stock em.

I'm definitely gonna need a new knuckle rod man, the front-left wheel wobbles BAD cause I bent it pulling it out of the stock wheels.

At least I learnt how the wheels are attached in the front and rears...It's all about learnin man.

not-so-gay.... it's better... no great, awesome line on it though.
I wouldn't bring it to a race and say... "look at my best!"

Awe come on man! We're not gonna poke fun, well I won't anyway,... we're all adults here (on the outside anyway).
We need to learn from our and others mistakes, so as not to recreate the ego-crushing experience.

Knowing what NOT to do is just as important as know what to do!

yes i wont make fun of the rims. the first time i did my pullback the front wheels were pretty fudged up. so i pulled em and fixed em.

i will however still make fun of the fact that its a minivan. at least paint skulls or beer labels on it or something to ungayify it.

then the name puchi. if it wasnt a minivan i wouldnt laugh as hard over the name puchi. what does puchi maru mean?
