Nakamichi car carrier and car
I have to say I love this cheap little thing! I just got it in the mail and to say the least I am very impressed !
It is a bit sized car carrier with motorized loading ramp and it comes with a bit type car.One remote covers both {has a switch -either car 49mhz or truck 27 mhz} and has a telescopic tube antennae, They have good speed and steering and finish is good too.The only bitches I have are :
1. rear axle on car is not removeable
2. upper level on the trailer has to be moved by hand
3. the car body is held on with a screw at the front
4. the truck takes seperate batteries
The car is not good for modding due to a large pcb board , I couldn't get any of my other bodys to fit it , even though it has front and rear tabs in addition to the screw.Power is transferred to the trailer via contacts on the trucks 5 th wheel area. The steering on the truck is positve and very strong , I tried some real 18 wheeler steering manuvers with this and it worked flawlessly.Only the rear most set of wheels drive and has very aggressive tires . The truck ran very well on living room carpet.
Sorry for being long winded , I couldn't believe this thing , I was expecting a piece of crap and instead I got a excellant addition to my bit collection.
I have no pics but I do have a link for an auction of another one that has pics.
