still probably the best 1/64 chassis ever

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

I just got my ZZ Jeep and F150 from Ebay today. I have to agree with hog that these spring suspension chasis are nice. There is a noticeable difference running these things over my hardwood floor. The grooves in between the boards tend to make the chasis with the pivot point suspension bounce around a bit. The spring suspension chasis doesn't seem to bounce as much and holds a pretty straight course.

Some closeups:

Note the lack of the pivot point suspension bar in the spring chasis, but the space for the bar is still there:

I really like these, but I'm still liking the newer ZZ SE chasis best (Chevelle, Torino, GTO). The only down side to the newer SE chasis is its tuff to lower a body shell on them because the elctronics make for a tall chasis.

Personally I'd like to find out more about these Panther chasis that Dennis/Sinned has been tossing around in some forums. Why? Because I'd like to be able to make my ZZ's look like this on a proportional chasis:

Numerous people have asked Sinned for the lowdown on these Panther chasis and he doesn't seem to want to put up the info. Honestly, that shit pisses me off. So...if you are reading this Sinned...I'm calling you out. Stop being such a selfish dick and give up some info.
