zzse problems

Post by chris »

Today I purchased the zzse GTO and I have had 3 problems with it and I'm wondering if it's fixible or if I need to take it back and get a clone. First, when I hold left for over 3 seconds it locks and goes in circles untill I pick it up and move the wheels back to the center. Second, sometimes I can not turn, after a while it goes back to normal. And thirdly whenever I go forward and let go of gas it will start to go in reverse, we found out its a controller problem but I would like to fix it. Is it fixible or should I take it back? Any help is appreciated

First I've heard of shit like that with the SEs, and not sure what you'd even need to tackle it. I'd advise you to just return it for another one, but I'd still get the SE over the clone. they really are a cool little car.

Like I said, I've never heard that particular problem yet, and there are quite a few SE owners here.

I'd say your chances of getting a good working one are pretty good. When you go back, bring your batts (new ones) with you and test it before you take it home..

Good luck dude.

Yeah, what he said.

You paid good money for it, it should work to begin with.

Dude....make sure you have the throttle and steering trims on the controller set properly. The problem you have with the car going in reverse when the trigger is in the neutral position most likely means you need to set the throttle trim. The turning problem doesn't sound like a steerng trim problem, but try anyway. These things sometimes need a little tweaking out of the box.

Make sure you don't have any hair and crap stuck in the wheels....sometimes its hard to see. Just make sure your wheels spin freely. If all else fails....take it back.

I'm not sure you are going to find too many GTO's though. As far as I can tell, they were all pretty much gone weeks ago in my area. I was lucky enough to grab a Red Chevelle and Orange GTO (the two colors I didn't have) right after the $14.99 sale started. They are still in the box making nice desk decorations until a later date

Oh....and I agree with Payaso. Go with the SE if you can get another one. When you get a good one they are great little 1/64 scale cars. The last few i have purchased GTO, chevelle, and torino have been great.

I moved the wheels back and forward for about 10 minutes and did what sdog said and now my car works fine, thanks.
