Anyone tried these yet?

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

Anybody tried these out yet?

How do they compare to the ZZMT ? I saw these in the Discovery Channel Store.

Yeah, walmarts got those. Tank style steering. They don't compare to the ZZMT. Unless your set on the treads, I'd say skip it.

Might be good for a body and some tires!

these are actually not that bad... yes, it is tank steering which i know turns a lot of people off, but that also means it turns on a dime, something the zzmt cannot do. body is diecast; i've never tried it, but i read somewhere that the red plastic body that sits in the terrain base snaps out and fits on the chassis (if you're concerned about the weight). the range is excellent, and it will pop wheelies if you go forward from reverse. the tires pop off and you can replace them with either the tank treads or the tires with the funky 4 lobes that you see behind the tank treads. i found them at costco or sams about a year ago. they had a set of 2 for something like $20.

definitely worth $10 if you ask me.

I might just get one.... not much of a monster truck, but it'd be a killer little tank with those treads.

Fully charged they'll lift the front wheels easily (even with the heavy NKOK diecast bodies)..

Size compared to a bit...
