drifting...for real
im not here to start nything silly,but...
i was talking and thinking about my zipzap and how to boost its performance on the levle of drifting. i put some tape on the rear tires, and it sucked going forwards, but backwards it ran like a champ. my car is the one being sold in the b/s/t area, with an se dual cell. the battery is near the front ,and since it will be naturally easier for the car to drift while going backwards, i was thinking of converting to fwd. the weight of the engine will keep the wheels on the floor, but the counter weight of the battery in back will shift coming into the drift,if i am correct it will slam all the weight to the front,or to one side,to the cars advantage. does anyone else have any ideas?

So, you're talking about running the bit backwards. Kinda like the reverse function on the Super Slicks. Not a bad idea. All you would have to do is switch the wires that control forward and backwards with each other and the same with the steering wires. You would also need to adjust the body to sit on backwards. It would look funny to see the back wheels turn instead of the front wheels, but it may have advantages.
The SS's reverse function is debatably a drift function. But all it really needs is more weight on the back so that the rear slides around more. Mine doesn't really slide around. It just takes a wide turn.

Cause I ride around town on my low-rider bicycle.

nice idea ,
hehe , i am thinking about a new project drift bit at the moment , so this may be in my interest to see if it really works ,
but wouldnt fwd be very very hard to do ?
id just say switch the body and transfer some wieght to the back end ( in theory it is the front but if you are as you say flipping th body , u get me ?
" yes of course hs20 "
"good good"

you can try entering 'forklift' in the search. All you do, i think is swap the wires on the pcb and work out a way to mount the body backwards.
or
You can put 'i have a drifting bit' in the serch (that's the topic name) to see the bit i used to have that was a drifter . its a vid.
i'm too lazy to do it for you. I hope the link still works.
