Can I join the club now?

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

I think they're somewhere inbetween 1/64 and 1/70, I'm not really sure. They're a touch bigger than bits.

So, you guys that bought your Zip Zaps recently, how you liking them?

I ask, because I love my F&F RX-7 (now a Challenger). The new PCBs do indeed seem to be fixed, and the 2.2 Performance(formally called the Turbo) is very punchy, though lacking in top speed. It is maybe a tad faster than my Tomy 2.2s. Just tried it with a Perfection 3.8, and it was very quick, even drove on carpet. Tracks straight, turns on a a dime, and very silent gears.

Seems like a quality product. I've got nothing to gripe about. Quite an improvement over my previous 2 Zip Zaps. Much more satisfying out of the box.

Yea my RX-8 is doing pretty good.
Sounds similar, not great on top end with the 2.2 "Turbo" it came with, but it wasn't bad on torque.
I was just running on carpet with it last night with no problems.
It didn't catch anything on fire, but it moved aight.
I haven't dropped in a new motor in that chassis yet.

Cabo wabo, let us know when you do try some different motors in your ZZ, I'm curious how that Vanquish motor works out.
