Glad to hear that atleast a couple guys can see the video!!!
As I said, it's an *.avi and you need something with a reccent DIVX Codec to view. I was able to get it to play on crappy-ass old IE(6.0.2800.) <I hate IE>, however my old version of Netscape (7.0) would identify what driver it needs but I didn't bother to download it, Opera (8.52) didn't immediately know and I didn't spend the time searching for it, Firefox (1.5.0.1) had absolutely no clue what to do with it. Since 2 others can see it, I know the file is good. If somebody can share it's true URL, you can download it and it'll play on currently updated WinMedia, or the DIVX player.
Yeah, I remember strider_mt2k. You did some pretty cool stuff! I got out of RC for a while after I graduated A&P school while I was job-less, I got back into it while the SE still sucked, but before the ZZ-M came out. I'm kinda suprised I was able to inspire you though, my early stuff wasn't too impressive.
Thanks Shaun, glad ya like it. But my advice is if you want one, build it. It's not too hard, and I went with a more difficult way than I had to anyway. If you don't want to deal with a stupid retract spring, install the internal spool so it's edge is just slightly proud of a front fender. Brush finger along fender, and it magically retracts; pull on hook to spool it out. Not as clean, but more than good enough!

Jack of all trades, master of none; yet often better than master of one.

Wow Frizzen, inventive, and the video really put it into perspective for me.
Ya know, they were selling a "hook shooter" winch type deal for the MS Powerbrutes. To shoot it, you'd press a tiny button on top of the winch unit. Then you just wind it up by hand.
I think I'd prefer yours.
