So I got a little aggressive.
Went in RS today to get me an extra pair of muscle car bodies to paint, when I see one last Street Tuner set. As I was seeing it, this other guy points at it, turns to his friend and says, "Check this out.." before he turned back around I had it on the counter and was handing the cashier my cash. I told the cashier I called over the weekend they said they didn't have any, and he told me "We just got them in, and already there's only ...", he looked over my shoulder to see how many, and I said, "One, I mean, none".
I would definately call that a snag. I feel a little guilty, but mostly I feel pretty damn cool.
Am I a bad person? I mean I've never beat anyone down for a Tickle Me Elmo or anything like that. Well I did wait in a line for 2 hours because my wife wanted a Firby for Valentines Day, but that's another story.

hell no man, you know he woulda done the same and you'd be out.
I've played the nice guy in situations like that and got shafted all over, too many times.
now, I'll knock an old lady with a walker on her ass if she's in my way. then I'll tell her "pardon you" with a look of "screw off - I'll kill you" and then all's better, you feel great.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Hell no, you're not a bad person. You snooze, you lose. On the b-ball court I rebound like a mofo, and you can apply the same tecnique at Radio Shack or TRU. Just put your body between what you want and the other lil' biatches trying to get it, and send 'em flying with your butt. Once you get the product in your hands, you can go upside their head wit your elbow to let them know they shouldn't even try next time. It's also good to yell "not in my house" or "try eBay, punk."

Damn, sounds like that guy was lucky it was just me, and those old ladies probably deserve it, they would just sell them on ebay to help pad their retirement.
Really I was just kinda joking around in that last paragraph. The reality is, he pointed, I grabbed, if he knew what he was looking at, he would of had it first.

I don't consider myself crazy, it's everyone else that's that keeps calling me crazy. I say everyones crazy, I just got caught. Any rate, I just thought it had a nice ring to it, "crazydave".DarkTari wrote:You sure your name is "CrazyDave" ? That shouldn't bother you one bit!
Not like you tripped him up while trying to go for the merchandise. Besides they'll get more, you just don't have to wait for it!
Is that the kit with the 2.8 Turbo & 3.4 ExNitros motors? How do you like them?
Yes, it is that kit, and I love the motors. The 2.8 has good top speed and tons of torque. Pushed to it's limit using the green 9.86:1 gears, it just starts to flip. Back off in time, and you'll be driving on 2 wheels. It would flip, but it was difficult to get it to.
The 3.4 smokes. Easily the best motor I've owned. It's very fast, probably true to the 3.4 rating, but still probably as fast as my pink endbell 3.8 was, and puts Perfection 3.8s to shame. Gobs and gobs of torque. It reached top speed nearly instantly. It's a little harder to flip a ZZ than a bit, and this thing was not only flipping, but doing barrel rolls back onto it wheels. One time I got it to roll about a foot. Flipped twice, and away we went.
The motors are worth the price of admission, and all the other goodies are just icing, but I love icing.
Mmmm, lime gold icing...
