The electronics on my zzmt............
I don't mean to sound stupid, but is there anyway to waterproof the little clear cover on zzmt's?
Would silicone work?
Thank You
(P.S. i searched first but didn't find anything)

first a disclaimer: water isn't a good idea with electronics.
but if ya gotta
motors and batteries can happily work submerged, no need to waterproof them. (although i wouldn't submerge a lipo)
you just need to seal off the pcb, you could coat the whole thing in silicone but it will make replacing wires difficult.
it's a messy option but you could smear grease over the pcb. provided you cover it properly it should keep it safe.
after running in water you'll probably want to spray the motor with some wd40.
having said all that, i'd never purposely submerge any of my rc's but that's just me

(first post in a long time)
ive got a zzmt with 2 dual cell packs, orange motor, and green gears. this thing flies over 2 inch rocks, even 1 inch gravel. my neighbors whole yard is 1 inch rocks, no lawn, and this thing is SO fun, actually, my only remaining mini R/C left, so we got to Lake Tahoe, actually, we won the trip on the radio. and i brought my nikko 4wd iron eagle buggy type thing, like 1/10-1/8 scale, i dont know, and that worked okay for a while, but i thought i broke it, but it turns out i forgot to charge it, then our zz mt`s, me and my freind robert, both of ours are dual celled, with NO shell, just a rubber band and some roll bars, haha! and they drove through the pack snow areas, and got all wet after, and didnt break at all.
edit:p.s. if you use a seperate charger on a dual celled zzmt, you can toss that old controller and get a 1st generation super slick controller in the matching mhz, and it gives you a Super Slick charging dock, witch works extrodinarily well, and a gun style controller.
