It wont hurt your other cars, anymore than it's hurting your Cannonball. I personally feel that 4.5v is too much for single cells, but it is an ideal charger for dual cells. That's not to say that it's actually hurting your battery, but it's not doing it any good, and could effect long term durability.
I've rewired one with 2 cells for single cell cars, and use a 3 cell one to charge dual cell cars.

I've got his crazy idea to have one car set up for every situation. I've got my dual cell clone, my dual cell booster Zip Zap, my dual cell non booster Zip Zap, my new Zip Zap is staying single cell, etc. etc., but I do have to admit, the single cell cars are not as fun after playing with the dual cells. I've got to set up another tri-cell. I'm missing Franken-Zap's former glory.hogjowlz wrote:also why would you wana run a single cell car? unless you havnt had time to upgrade.
