alright, my motors finally came today so now I'm going to be able to see what a 2.6, 3.0, and finally my 3.8 do in the booster.
Most of my driving is on the track so I'm guessing 2.6 is going to be my preferred track motor, but I'm anxious to see the 3.8 on wide open basement floor!
nother crappy part is - a lot of my racing is alone (that blows) which is why I'm usually on da track - takes a little longer to get boring.
Now, I remember reading somewhere about switching the boost mode in the controller, but if I remember right, it sounded cumbersome, it wasn't as simple as reversing wiring or anything - if I remember right, you had to add a resistor, etc. Sounds like a pain in the arse.
Speaking of all this speed and such, do the majority of you believe 3 cells is too much? I'm asking because the dual cell rocks, but it seems it's pushing the envelope as far as control goes.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I think that convinces me.
2 is plenty, 3 is overkill.
I've been giving it alot of thought lately, especially seeing these vans around, seems like you could fit 4 batts in there no prob.
At first I thought 3 cells would be great for super torque, hill climbs and wheelies, but now I'm thinking it would just spin the tires out of control - useless.
hey hog, how'd the stomper wheel mod go?

nox: i got the exact same microsizer and ya range sucks. the pcb is in my muscle car now.
cabo: i glued the rear axle last night so ill know more when i get home. i also reglued the pullback wheels on the rear axle. tonight i think ill be epoxying the rear axle into my muscle car, my mspro with the clone pcb and the clone with the stomper tires. so if all goes well ill have muscle speed and offroad in a few days.

so I guess the best way to increase range in use a clone pcb?
my range isn't as crappy as 10' but it's not 30' either - I want more range, but don't really wanna have to buy a clone just to get 1 car to go past the boogers I flick.
