I checked there too, and they've restocked their supply of bits for the moment, although they seem to be in short supply. I posted the find on the "da hook up" section, hopefully everyone got the message and is clearing ToyEast out right now.

Thanks for the tip, seeberg. I just got the last Ferrari Dino and a bunch of other stuff. I've been on the prowl as shit is disappearing fast and I have a lot of holes to fill.
If anyone comes across super bit high speed sets, let me know please. They're super hard to find, but well worth it for the full set of blingin wheels.

rcmart.com and hobbyonsale.com should both have some, and I don't need any more super bits, although I am interested in some of the bodies I don't already have in pullback form. Damnit, why don't they have super bit clones, from Panther or something?
Ahhh, that would be sweet! All the super bit shells I could get my hands on for dirt cheap!

Not bad, sg219! Ya know, the Toyota bB bodykit can be gotten from Tower Hobbies for cheaper, unless you need that toolkit that comes in the Bit package.
Oh, I got a question: What is a Challenger-Racing kit? Looks interesting.

Shit, I forgot- the kits I ordered arrived today, and they are fucking sweet! One problem did come up though: The return spring on one of the kits wasn't set up right- a little superglue over the spring in two places fixed that and now it's no prob. I've even done comparisons between the LXX knockoff, and the Tomy versions of the bodies look way better.

I'm getting a Impreza WRX bodykit from TE, myself. My original WRX body from Auldey-the one that says "Exercise Tip" all over it-had its scoop put on backwards when I got it, so I reversed it, but the wing mounts are flimsy and need superglued. I'm sure the Tomy version has much better fit and finish. Needless to say, I hate Auldey kits! They suck the most ass of any bit clone I've ever owned. I sure hope Thunder Chargers are much better, as I have yet to get one. Panther cars have been pretty decent so far though.

I never knew it came with a tool kit. I got it and still haven't had the chance to open it and see what it was to be used for.seeberg wrote:Not bad, sg219! Ya know, the Toyota bB bodykit can be gotten from Tower Hobbies for cheaper, unless you need that toolkit that comes in the Bit package.

Yeah, what comes with a Tomy bodykit(Microsizers should have included this handy little gadget) is a bumper/roller set for a Bit racer and a plastic tool for prying bodies off your chassis easier with two of the segments, it has a pinon gear remover in the center, and a heatsink remover on another end, and I think the loop next to the Bit Hobby logo is for a keychain if ya got one. That's what I remember the instructions implying.sg219 wrote: I never knew it came with a tool kit. I got it and still haven't had the chance to open it and see what it was to be used for.
I have several of these bit tools, and I think the last one will probably come with that WRX kit. Every other body I want either only comes in a kit or in a pullback, and I only need the Murcielago to complete that collection-I'm not terrribly intrerested in it though. I want a Ferrari Testarossa, so I can rock the Miami Vice while I race. I wonder if Shen Qi Wei's 2005 lineup includes a Testarossa clone?

Thanks, bro! I've never had any thread of mine become a sticky!
My other Holy Grail before getting the Auto Modellista sets was the Gloria Bodykit and the Sprinter Trueno Pullback. Now that I have both, I guess it's onto the Ferrari Testarossa and finding out what the "Temp Sensor Heatsink" is in Bit Racer kit S-09.
Other than that, the Skyline History set(the 35MHz regular Bit version) would be another, but I already have all those bodies and that frequency in 2-speed. And I don't need the Initial D set, I have everything it offers already except for the white roof for the Trueno and possibly a white rear spoiler as well.
Here's something that might get a reaction: The original Auto Modellista set imported from Japan was available at this shop, Leisure Hobbies, in Salem(where I hang) for $75! I was like, "are you fucking kidding me?"
Boucin' out,
Abe
