Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Ha ha, well Betty its looking like you can give up on that other site, i dont think im going back after seeing what the pimps have to offer.

DarkTari, im glad you like my design..Ill post in the truck contest soon( i still have a few days left) and I was able to set up a gallery yesterday but i havent had time to upload many pictures yet,, ill fill it up soon i promise.

Here is one more picture of the naked H1. I had to cover it up with some electrical tape to protect the electronics from the elements so its not super pretty at the moment. I also used some foam to fill in the rear fender gaps(same foam i use to mount the body)

Enjoy and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Very glad to hear that man, welcome home Pimp! You just didn't know it till now.

I love everything about that ride man. From the supub detailing on the shell and great lays of paint to the gnarly suspension you have going on there.

Hate to say it betty, but I think the simplicity of the design makes this a one up on your ground breaking off roaders. This hobby is always improving, that's what I love about this site. Innovate and masturbate, my two favorite "ates"

Oh yeah, and fo sho get that truck in the contest, wow the entries for this one are looking HOT!

Oh, and for my next trick im going a little bigger. Yesterday i found some tires that would kick ass on an off road bit. Hotwheels makes these things called "Rev-ups" they are these little cars that have magnets on the bottom of them and you push them along to build up speed and they will climb things and such.. Its good for about 3 and a half minutes of time wasting before you want to take it apart and see how it works. Ill probably run out t oday and pick up another bit to hack apart and start working on this project. I really wanted to use that green body but its no where near wide enough so i dont know if ill end up making it wider :???: or going with a different body,, we will see ,, anyways, the tires are large knobby and extramly soft and sticky so i think they will work great for an off road bit. Here are some shots of the rev up and my humvee for scale

Just a little info you guys may find interesting.. oh, and the "rev-up" runs about $4 in the states

I agree, its just goofy looking the way it is up on that massive chassis but i think it has some potential on a bit. Oh, and yeah, its plastic. Ive tried diecast before and the look just isnt worth the loss in performance. Im thinking with that green body i can cut it straight down the middle and add some width to the roof with some thing plastic and filler. We will see though,, I first need a bit to fit it to.. I really only purchased it for the tires anyway ;-)

I got a Rev Up for the tires also. It's got that same body, but it's a milk truck or something. I thought it looked pretty cool. I was kinda figuring how I could make it RC somehow.

So CrazyDave, did you ever end up using those tires? if so what did you use them on? Id like to get some ideas. I just picked up an F-250 plastic body that i think im gong to use(yoinked from a pull back racer toy) and i think ill end up lifting it, adding a tri cell and sticking another superslick motor in there with a new experimental suspension im working on but i would like to see some pics if you have them

Yep, that's the one I got too. Once I took it apart, the wheels seemed too heavy for the steering, so I didn't bother... then ZZMT came out, so there was no real need to do all the work. It's a pretty cool toy on its own... those things can crawl over some pretty serious shit.

here is an update on where i am with those larger tires:

Im building a full suspension from scratch. It gives me up and down flex along with indipendant swivel for each tire. I took the back end of a microsizer and added a zzmt motor. The shocks i made have to stick out a little through the bed of the f-250 truck.(its plastic, no worries). So far i only have the rear done but its looking really nice. The rear end shocks are getting a good solid 1/4 of an inch of travel!! Check it out:

oops! put those tires on backwards lol,, ill have to fix that :???:

Ummm... is the motor mounted to the wheels before the shocks? If so that doesn't make sense, the point of shocks is to absorb the weight of the chassis for the tires. There would be little to no actual travel if all it's supporting is the shell.
