Glad to see you finally got yourself an hitari. The company that services the cars for Hitari is Fowler Electronics (their number is on the instruction sets). These have been discontinued in the UK for over a year now, so good score!.

You can buy the whole car one bit at a time!
The motors are slightly different to ZZ in that they have a little lug on the end of the motor to help seat them in the chassis. Bodies are totaly compatible with ZZ.
If any of you want some shells etc sending over to the USA, check with Fowler first, if they wont do it, I will
