I was sitting in the same boat, still kind of am - but I haven't had it long enough to make a good judgement on it.SuperFly wrote:To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm getting one of these or not. Hue35 and I have been debating the subject, cuz we've gotten to the point with original one-speed Microsizers with the mosfet mod, fast motor, teal or KIT racer gears, LXX tires on the rear, hard KIT racer tires on the front where the driving is so fast and so precise, that it's hard to imagine it being any better. And who needs another controller to haul around. I dunno. I might spend my money on an xmod when they come out.
I know I'll still love my bits more, so much more you can do to them and they just generally look nicer IMO.
the sole reason I got one of these things was for the propo - which is awesome for such a small car, but I'll have to say - mine needs tweeking. Out of the box, it was propo to the right, but not to the left and made the odd servo studdering noise.
adjusting it is proving to be somewhat frustrating as you have 2 trims, 1 on the controller and 1 on the chassis. the one on the chassis seems to be the one causing issues because it spins so damn much.
I also dig the idea of changing the freqs. on the Tx, would like to see if that really works (how much interfirence)
love the new sig dude lol
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Damn you guys!!!
I get all excited and jealous they're in the stores, I don't get paid 'til monday, but my local store only got 2 in, so I'm forced to go and spend money I don't have.
See what you guys caused?
Anyways, I'm POed, I think mines defective. Any time you tap the the throttle or steering the front wheel jitter back and forth. it's just slight, and doesn't seem to effect handling, but damn it's getting on my nerves, and I haven't even run the first charge down.
Do yours do that? If not I'm going back tomorrow, and hoping they still have that other one.
If everyones does that, then I'm done with these.

So it's not just me. I'm gonna try to get over it, since it doesn't seem to effect handling, but my first impression reflects Superfly's sentiments.
I've gotton used to the punch of the mosfets, and since my track is all right angles, the propo steering isn't making a huge difference. I had gotton used to my bits on my track.
It's neato and all, but I'm not as dazzled as I hoped. I'm actually digging the headlights more than I thought. Too bad they make they body sit so high.
Oh, and that black stuff on the PCB is just paint, I already started scratching mine off.

Mines got the lil stutter dave, but it don't bother me.
I don't see it affecting the performance at all.
I've got some serious runtime issues though, the fuckers put in a 2.4v 70 mah bat.
It looks like I might be able to squeeze in 2 shorter bats (my 160's are kinda short) head to tail in the stock bats place, I'm just waiting for a nice chunk of sober time.

dave, my post above stated pretty much the same thing.
I had that problem too.
still do, I can confirm hog's approach, mess with trim on controller first.
the one on the chassis is a bitch to get back in place.
I've gotten it to switch which side has better propo, but still not getting that good of results on both sides.
little dis-appointing.
I do believe once it's dialed in, it'll be great, but getting it there is frustrating as all get out.
