General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

but isn't that just dealing with frequency?

The solderballs always wear a hold in my electrical tape, shorting things out.
So I've learned just to pop off that wire from the negative plate.
Then the other end on the pcb seems to wiggle free after a few play withs..
So my wiring is more secure and solid.. thicker awg.

(also, if Im playin with my bits... my iron is ALWAYS ON).

ps. thanks to 'edit' function. I fixed the url

My oem bullet controller's charging station never worked, I always had to charge on one controller and drive with another.
Once I did the dual cell mod, I took the oem controller and made that the dual cell controller, it now charges fine (dual cells) and also controls the car. What's odd is left = left, right = right, forward = reverse and reverse = forward.
I thought it odd that only the one set was reversed?

my software accounts for this.. My brain does not.

every vendor has a variation. That's what I didnt like about the first MotorWOrks.. everything was off.

can you set your software up so it pulses between boost and unboost? that would be cool.

Namuna wrote:What 3.8 you runnin?

Mine is the green endbell 3.8 (From Tiny)...What makes mine different is that it's pretty damned efficient! In my Motor Tests I found that the 'typical' current drain (which means what it runs off of under normal load) for this motor was actually pretty close to the 2.6, which is to say failry low...But when you put it under load (like from a dead stop or pullin out of turns), it pulls plenty of juice.

What am I getting at? Well that 3.8 you're using might need the high current at all times, so it's piss poor when starved on unboosted mode. The 3.8 I got runs great under normal to low current, and kicks balls when the juice flows.
I'm runnin the green end bell from tiny as well, except I actually got mine from kyle before tiny started stocking his motors..

Don't get me wrong, I love the 3.8 in the booster, but it's no match for the 2.6 in severe driving conditions..ie. carpet, hills.

When I race in open spaces, it's the 3.8 all the way.. You should try the 2.6 from Kyle though... You'll be impressed... Trust me..

I have videos to prove the torque that it puts out is INSANE... It even beats the pink clone motor hog talks about..(but not by much)

I have plenty of clips for you now hog... You'll have to cut em up though, and show people there's a story of tribulation behind it...lol

yeah, well I've got a setup that'll BLOW ALL YOU MONKEY ASSES out of the water...it's called...

Wait for it....

The Takara Digi-Q!!! *With the Digi Propo Special, LCD controller of course*

Not only will it OWN your Bit, it'll own yur Mother AND yur Sister too!

Alright, the smack talk aside...We're all yap'n about all these supposedly kick ass motors for the Bit, while the Digi-Q just sits in the background sayin "Whatever man".

Too bad they're not more popular.
