sdog- same with me. i guess i got so much from the other cars ive had the expections was too high because of what i have seen in the past. i just drilled a hole in the body bigger and stuch some wd40 tube in it to hold up the antenna(nicked the body too ) but im glad im not the only one with this problem(s)...

fyi, the screech that i was talking about is easily cured by adding some spacers inbetween the idler and wheel gear. i took a post card, cut some circles about 9.5mm and used a hole punch to cut the center out. three of these donuts on the idler fixed all my screeching. might look for some thin washers metal washers the next time i'm at the home depot (for a little more of a 'finished' look).
