Yeah I like the tool box and if you put another pen end on that fuel tank, it would look really realistic. I agree that it should be a little shorter. Don't forget to add the gas cap on there somewhere!

Details are the killer. body was knocked out in under a wee

Thanks Sqwalerrr. (hey, i had it coming)

That toolbox was more of a pain in ass to build than the entire bed. Almost made me not want to make the second one...

Fuel tanks are Bic, it's kinda stuck there because I haven't bought any bics to finish it yet, my stock of pens at work are now all Staples clones of bic, so the diameters are off and the ends are flat instead of that nice convex. I'm thinking the tanks will get frame brackets, gas cap (tiny styrene), and some straps (thread). Cut down and moved forward should help it.

Hey, what was that by the cab?

Built a new set of these that'll clear the soft-top bows and made an intake

New fuel tank stock arrived. (Uh, I bought 8-pack crappy pens.) And they are coming along nicely. I'm thinking like 0.800" overall length.

Broke out the Wire-Stretcher for a lighting board, need to pick board layouts on chassis so I can mount lights. Also swap guitar string antenna onto control board.

Still needs Front bumper.

* What other details am I missing?

* Paint Scheme suggestions? Not sure if winter camo is really what it wants anymore.

Ok, so you've seen the rear bumper already. And I said there'd be a front bumper, and some lights...

You guys don't actually want to see 'em do ya?

Driving it with the lights on is a HELL of a lot cooler and more realistic feeling! Rear lights are just going to be glued under bed after paint. But the fronts are a thing of beauty.

Under Bed? What do you mean?

Just checking. Seemed like most have given up on this one.

Square profile, not sure if I want to bevel lower edge since the approach angle is already "quite good".

Here's a thousand words about what I ment by "under bed"

Ah. okay I don't know why I didn't get it.

Anyway, don't round it off, but cut the edge a bit I think.

Looking good BTW.... so quit acting like no one cares or no one is following the build. :-x

Man, you need to move to a smaller country. Try Fiji, it'll save on moving expenses in the long run.

Or maybe the lovely country of Hawaii, it looks very friendly and their King--Dog the Bounty Hunter--seems awesome.
