Bit shortcourse plans

Post by nonickname »

Hey; I'm going to be making a bit shortcourse racer (google it). Essentially stadium trucks if you race large rc cars, except to more scale.

It's fairly Ibjamn inspired, with BettyK style mods (rear suspension, coils, modded tyres).

All fairly basic stuff. Though I do have several questions. I recently broke my mini rc helicopter which has a small lipo (3.8v). Can this be used with a bit board without causing damage? Or will I need a voltage regulator. It also has a propo board but to be honest, I ain't wiring it up and finding a separate board to control steering.

Body will be a beetle molded from a body I found (mold agent is setting up now) cast in high strength epoxy (unbreakable) and a small rollcage..nerf bars. Silly things like that.

Heading off to find a clone to murder, any thoughts?
