Wild Char-g can't go any faster than it already does...
Meaning, I've been trying to figure out how to activate the boost function on it... when in actuallity the standard controller is already transmitting at the
boost freq.!
(keep in mind that most of this is theory, as i'm not sure I've got the skill to prove it all... but damnit I'll try)
Now since I've gotten my multi-controller this is what I know;
The multi-controller has 3 settings for it's capable functions

Now I know this is all elementary, but it helps as a reference
When running the Wild on setting B it's running a 1/2 speed, painfully slow, when the boost button is pushed it now runs at 'regular' speed (no faster), as it would with the standard controller. When on setting C it is at constant 'regular' speed.
Now these results and the settings used would be the same if running a 'Bit' boosted chassis.
And this why I believe the standard controller to be running at boost freq. all the time, what i will TRY to do today is to get a reading on the voltage and current on the Wild to see if it proves my theory. As i've never tried before this should be interesting.
I will thank Namuna in advance for his readings on the 350z for a basis for comparison.
Kinda starting to make sense yet?!
On a side note; I don't know if anyone else has got the Wild, but if you've cracked it open and seen the the kind of diff. set-up it's got... all this kinda starts to make sense. It would appear that the Wild in nature needs that extra 'UMF' to get it's ass goin.

Now since I've gotten my multi-controller this is what I know;
The multi-controller has 3 settings for it's capable functions
- A= Standard use for non-boost chassis (setting won't work with boost chassis)
B= Switchable Boost capabilities (setting won't work with standard chassis)
C= Boost always on (setting won't work with standard chassis)

the whole incompatible thing is an immediate turn off I guess, but working with a boosted chassis, that'd make some difference. lol
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I believe it would... it would/should be transmitting on the boost freq. so the boost would/should be constant if my theory is correct. If i had a boost chassis I'd be able to verify this, thing is the Wild controller is 35mhz... when and if I get one I'd like to get a 57mhz cause I don't have that freq. yet.payaso wrote:So would the wild controller run a booster chassis of the same mhz?

As far as running the test go... unfortunately I don't ahve enough hands

really need to get the helping hands tool

cabo don't get me wrong, if you put a bigger motor in such as a 3.4 (that's what i'm gonna try) and a dual battery mod.CaboWabo wrote:the whole incompatible thing is an immediate turn off I guess, but working with a boosted chassis, that'd make some difference. lol
You could have 'Bit Tractor Pulls', my intention was to unleash the boost... but the more i think about it and investigate the more i believe that the PCB is already running at full potential.
Plus I don't have to leave bed to play w/ my Wild! you can turn your bed into a offroad course

let's see you try that w/ a regular bit... lol

It'll probably run over children, midgets, and small adults when I'm done! lol
