Today lil Dark pulled out his Precious RX-7 and saw a blue substance on the foam in his case. I cracked that baby open to find this.....
Battery Acid leakage! Cleaned it up, popped in an old Tomy Batt, charged a couple of times and he's back on Da Road! Only charged him the minimal mechanics rate minus relative discount.

Nice to see you put the Scrubbing Bubbles to work on it and got her back to normal.
Secondly, I guess I have never seen a Precious chassis, damn, that thing is white....! That is cool as hell mang. I have never seen a chassis molded in white before....gotta get one of those...

damn, thats the first time i saw that. also, i think a chassis in red would be bad ass, or maybe silver chrome. but i have a Q: if acid leaked out of the battery, wouldnt that melt the metal electrodes? unless it is a real weak acid, then i guess you can drink Clorox.
sometimes i wanna do this
and sometimes i wanna do this
but most of the time i wanna do this

WTF is RIT dye, where can i get some, and do i have to clear out everything in the chassis before i do it?
that sounds like a lot of work, ill just buy one.

I kinda think that leakage happens when you put a car away with a charge in it. I could be totally wrong, but that's my theory. So I always run them dry before putting them away.

I would say cheeap battery cause the car isn't that old and has low milage. He has other cars that are older with less milage. Anyways an emery board and canned air cleaned 'er right up! Runs better than new....
