Shen batt. trouble

I got home with my new 12 dollar shen and i carged her up and let it loose on the kichen floor or so i thouhgt i hit it and it ran for 5 feet and stoped and charged it again and same result, so i was like wtf? i have an old ms with the tabs cut off (dont ask i got a little cut happy with my swissy) so i take its batt. and put it in the shen and now it works fine. So what do you think was wrong or was it just a pos batt.?

maybe the battery was just a dud or old.

ya probly its a little anoying to take a car off the charger for the first time and it doesnt work like it should
