well the super bit what can i say. the countache body is by far the best one i have. it sits really nice is super detailed and is straight outa vice city.
the new chassis is very nice. not totally improved but it is lighter im pretty sure and the smoothed out underneath is nice. i havnt fudged with the front end. the wheels are the biggest improvment i have seen. good job tomy. the controller is a lot nicer. it feels less toy-like. the gears seem smoother than other tomy cars i have as well.
the range is the same as all the tomy cars. crap. i rerouted the antenna so it doesnt go across the board which helped a little. there are no big electrolyte caps on the pcb anymore meaning more room for a dual cell.
then the perfection motors: they live up to their hype. decent torque and mad top speed. the only single celled car ive ever flipped.

That's what I like to hear. I'm waiting for my 911 to arrive. I have already tried a 4.2 in my MS Pro and indeed flip it a few times.

I'm conflicted... most of what I've heard - the super bits are crap - no improvements (besides the new body style)
guess there's only one true way to find out - get one lol

ok its not like a totally new car design but the chassis is very well thought out. i havnt caught any hair in the wheels like the old style. the gears mesh better due to the placment of the idler. it also weighs less.
the biggest improvment has to be the controller. you can press in the middle of the l/r switch and it rocks back and forth real easy kinda like a nintendo controller. its so much easier to steer. i wont miss the floppy antenna either. it just feels nicer in the hands as well.
and well as been stated by my homey nox, the detail on the lambo is insane.

U think the Countach is detailed, wait'll U see the Jota!
The Lambo is 27mhz? Range does suck, let us know if you get the same "car still runs after button is released" sendrome.
Wait til you try the 40mhz, awsome range!

ya i get the syndrome. i rerouted the antenna so it doesnt go across the board and i get about 6feet with it shoved under the shell which is acceptable i guess.

Drives Nice.
Nice handling. (stock motor, green bell).
Gonna put the King 4.2 in it now..
DOWNFALL:
the new superbit controller drains the battery when left on.
Unlike the original Tomy controllers, when you left the unit's ON/OFF switch in the ON position, it would not drain the batteries.
The new controllers have a red LED to indicate when it's on.
So, after time, it will drain.

ya thats the only thing i dont like about the controller. the left/right pad is so nice. it doesnt click as loud as the old ones either.

the problem of a 'sticky' button does not happen all the time.
but it does happen when you don't want it to.
Also seems to happen more with a bigger motor.
(or is it the elusion, because it travels farther).
Don't need to duel cell with a 4.2 motor..

ya but i had to try it and man its the fastest acceleration ive ever seen. just tapping fwd moves it a foot or so.
another drawback i forgot to mention about the countache is that it is so light that it gets no traction on thicker carpet. the tires just spin.
