Holden barrier print out?

Post by barto_85 »

I just came through the bitpimps home page as I usually do, and where the random image appears, it was Dark Tari's while and gold skyline. There are some barrier print outs in the back, which includes a holden barrier, do you guys over there even know what holdens are? Just wondering, because I didn't think they existed over there.

Here's the pic

I think they are the equivalent of GM over there, because I think GM do the engines for them.

Holden commodore is the only name of a Holden i can think, Engines are from GM and the Commodore has some (A LOT!) in common with the Opel(Vauxhall) Omega.. There's also that pick-up thing with +300 HP..
This is what pops up in my head with the word "Holden"

Pontiac's new GTO (2005 US release?) is based on a Holden model.
I don't have any specs, but it sound like a kick ass ride! 8)
Still, not too many people here know the name "Holden".

Yeah, even in Denmark where the prices are as high as the sky the Holden commodore with 306 HP can be bought for about 600.000/8 = 80.000$, if you're lookingh for the same car, fx a MB E500 it'll cost twice as much? Wonder how much it'll cost in the states?

Yeah the pontiac GTO is based on the Holden Monaro, which my family are proud owners of one. They are very nice cars.

haha, I'm from Australia, so I know all about them. The monaro is pretty quick. I dont think you guys measure in kw's do you? it has about 230kw anyway. here's the specs, I think the american Pontiac is going to be more powerful though.
