Punk got me thinking

OK so I got dissed by a punk on another board for showing my vids. Said they wern't real races. So I got chilled and got some buddies, and said, how about a race. So they set up the track (while i prepared
), let them play with the new toys (Radio Shack UK liked the mat so much they sent me some zipzaps
, promised to race race them and show vid).
They fell for the ploy. The boys went for the fast and the flash (red car by far the fastest but needs skill, the zipzap gold is nice handling and good speed), and left me with the cruiser
.
Chilled skill won hands down.

That was cool.
I like how the red guy said he needed more time, but time turned out to be his worst enemy considering he was winning the first half of the race, and the spend the second half slipping into last place.

Bonzer, I thought we lost radio shack in the UK, with the death of Tandy's. I remember Tandys when i was quite a bit younger, its where i got my first computer from it was an acorn a3010 with all of 2mb ram !! just like we had at school.

Your right (sort of). Radio Shak UK is the remaining UK agent for RS USA. They sell RS product to UK retailers. They had been prevented from selling zipzaps in the uk due to patent issues, but apparently they have now had the go ahead to sell. You can buy online at
www.radioshack.co.uk.

My parents got our fist computer for $1000....and it only had 3gB Hard Drive...in 2000!

I always thought that Tandy was the parent of RadioShack. Most older RS stuff says Tandy.
Does anyone here other than me apprieciate the utter coolness of the SE's proportional steering?
