well i went to toys r us walmart and hobby town usa??
hobby town usa had microsizers. sports for only 20 bucks. they had mini zs for 125 and other bigger scale cars and stuff and a bunch of useless crap.
toys r us has those nascar rcs with the helmet charger
walmart got in: motorworks boats and tanks!! as well as hotwheels clones. yes it took them a year or so but hotwheels has a clone now. trucks and some fucked up looking body that resembles no car ive ever seen. the pickups looked pretty cool tho.
guess what i got?

Motorworks had a military line at wallmarts. they had a jeep with rocket launcher a tank a sam launcher vehicle and one other. The paint jobs were pretty cheap and I've no clue on how they run but 1 or 2 of them are on my lil wish list.
Hog, I assume that's one of the MW tanks, hows it run?

Do the Turets move?

the turrets aint motorized but you can move them left right up and down by hand. mine got hair stuck in one of the treads after a few mins of driving so i took it apart and its pretty simplistic inside. im going to ad another battery later on. the charger is cool. im almost thinking i shoulda got the hotwheels one. they are the same price as motorworks. the boats i saw were different motorworks and they had the nkok boat truck set repackaged as motorworks.
the tank steers like the wild char-g it doesnt have "tank steering" btw.

Simplistic? Really? I guess for you hog. I took mine apart and the guts look simple enough but whats with the gears?

they are weird im gona jbweld the drive wheels onto the axles and probably secure the pins into the chassis. that should improve power and reliability. and of course another battery. it should climb over anything at high speeds

yeah I like dat Idea. Mine climbs pretty good now. Considering its slower than a stick 1.0 motor. LOL

Sounds like the tank would be a good race for my Tomy Truck. Incredibly slow, but it climbs over the clutter on my desk pretty good. Maybe I'll be able to change the gearing in it.
I scored the Nascar Motorworks at Walmart today. I've been watching for them for about a month now, and they finally got some in. Haven't tried them out yet, my track has plaster dust all over it.

Well like all the tanks that I have seen so far they are controlled with 2 motors. So when you hit fwd both move then one at a time for turning.
I have seen some tanks that move fast considering.
take a look at the video on this ebay auction
