ok i walked to two radioshacks with the same questions "did you guys get the new zipzaps in yet?" both said no. then "you know when you will get them?" one said they will get xmas crap in within the next 2 weeks and the other said within the next month but he had the same catalog that cj scanned his pics from. the xmods look pretty cool but he had no prices.

so then i went to the bank and decided to stop at burlington since its across the street and low and behold they restocked and have "thunderfighters". this included 45mhz and 49mhz cars. dome versions of the tomy coin battle set, rc skateboards and motorcycles. nobody has ever posted anything about the motorcycles so i took it upon myself to pick one up(9.99) and tell you all about it.

first take: the charging part has little training wheels on it which kinda drag so the thing is pretty slow. i may be able to remove them to see if it can stand up by itself when moving.

ok i just removed one of the wheels and am working on the other ill let ya know in a little bit.

I have one of those bikes, and I'm not impressed much.. Cool to have though.. I guess..

any mods that can be dont to them? duel cell , new motors?

Very funky set up... Motor is mounted sideways, and it's hard wired..

I just never really had the urge to do anything to it.. Hell, I didn't even buy it. My neighbor bought it, and just gave it to me to work on.. It just sits there like I do here...lol

ya. i see why these things never caught on. i already packaged it back up and will be running over there after work to exchange for a 45mhz thunderfighter it looks like. whats the quality on those? oh well i need another 45mhz pcb.
