Got my SE but theres a problem or is it?

after i let go of the gas on my se the front steering shakes is this supposed to happen because i tried adjustin the front turning screw but sumtimes it wont do it for about 15-20 sec but then it does it again also my controller didnt come with a battery cover i think im gonna take it back and get a new one

adjust the steering trim on the controller.

yea adjust the trim on the controller first, the one on the chassis is probably pretty near where it's supposed to be.

don't feel alone, my se's front wheels rattle after stopping also.

Anyone notice a front tire "toed" in?? one of my front tires is that way.

I think the front end has a little toe in. Can you adjust it so they have equal toe in?

Yeah that stuttering thing is apparently common. It made me mad when i thought my car was a defect, but now that I know that everyones does it, I'm slowly getting over it.

The "stuttering" does not seem to cause any adverse effects. It may even help the steering return to center better. I have noticed on some cheapo 1/10th servos, that they do not always return exactly to center if you just let loose of the steering. A little back and forth with the steering wheel will bring it back to center again. This may even have been designed into the cars, as they are basically a very cheapo servo set up for the steering.

I noticed the servo motor has a green endbell like a 1.6. I wonder how hard it would be to swap that motor, and I wonder what would happen if I put a torquey clone motor in there. Hmmmmm, I wonder... :???:
