I first stumbled across mini-rc's a little over a year ago when I picked up a Sen Fa Bit Char G at a hobby store. I was bored at work the other day and I happend to do a search for mini-rc's and I found this forum. I'm impressed with all the work and knowledge that everyone has put into this site. So impressed, I went out to RS yesterday and picked up a ZipZap SE. After a few rave reviews on here, I had to try it for myself. It literally runs circles arond my other mini-rc. The new steering apparatus makes manuevering it very easy. I think I'm hooked because today I picked up some Porsche 911 bodies, a street tuner upgrade kit along with performance booster and tire and hubcap kit. The one thing I noticed is that the Char G has two different sized wheels, a smaller size up front and a bigger size for the rear. The ZipZaps just have one size tire for all four wheels. Does anyone know if most other imports go with 2 different sizes of tires on their cars? I was hoping to stick with brands that are interchangeable so I can share parts. Can anyone list a few brands that should have parts that fit each other. Thanks and I look forward to hanging out around here. After reading some of the electrical modifications done to the cars, I remembered one of my friends is an electrical engineer, so I'm going to talk to him and see if he can think of any other ideas to enhance these cars.
