GOLD RIMS???
I understand that everyone has their thoughts of what looks cool and what don't, but I've gotta say I'm sick of seeing these gold rims on cars. They look ghetto and shitty. Personal I Think it looks like crap but hey, its a free country I guess.

Like I Said before people like what they like and I'm not here to tell people what to do, I'm just expressing my views of good and bad. I forgot to add something. I wanted people to stop putting the "ghetto" rims on the cars like RX-7s,Skylines(old school dont count), and other RACE cars. Put them on some low riders or something. Understand what I'm saying

I'm talking GHETTO wheels I've seen more and more people used on the board. I'm not gonna point any fingers because i dont want a PNN story about how board members got into a shoot out over the diffrence between good and bad taste, hahaha. Maybe I should write one, lolbarto_85 wrote:I think they look great, if you look at cabo's cars, the wheels make every car just look that little bit better than standard rims. Just that look that they aren't standard.

I understand what you are saying but I think the rims depend on the paint job as well as the car.
Whats you gots on your rides?
Me I have alot of stock rims on my rides with a few chassies with nice dubs for pics and shit.
DT on the other hand will take his stocks and paint the spokes to match the car and that makes it look great.

First you say you're not here to tell people what to do, then you say: 'I wanted people to stop putting the "ghetto" rims on the cars like RX-7s,Skylines(old school dont count), and other RACE cars. You just told me what to do, phuc you.
...and another thing, the rims on my cars are BBS race rims, the same rims found on GT cars, like the Porshe and Viper, and and have very little in common with a lowrider.
You're entitled to you're opinion, just don't ever tell me what to do.

**Edit:just because I refuse to be told what to do:

Dave Is absolutely right!
I want you to define Ghetto ?
The wheels you are reffering to are "Alloys", BBS, ATS, Audi, Alpina, etc. are all European wheels designed for European Cars and beyond. These are made in Germany where there are no Cadis & lowriders of such.
Your opinion is your opinion, you like what you like, But that don't mean shit around here! This is not a residential forum, You in Da Hood now, where anything goes that we allow. And if you can't get with that then I suggest you make your residence in one of the other Residential Forums . We can take constructive critisism, but we don't tolerate fuckin insults as you will find out!

I just also wanted to add, these rims are wide because they are race rims. The real race cars that would use these rims have widened panels to accomodate the wider wheels. A RX-7 is not a race car, unless you make it one.
Just to show you that these rims actually fill out the wheel wells in some more race inspired cars:

Thats totally true. If they was to come out with cadilac I'd throw the most ghetto deep dish rims on it(besides one black spare on the front right), lower it, give it scratches in paint, feel it full of small speakers and then across the front windshield a banner syaing "Dont Hate". I got this idea from a guy in my neighbor acuatlly driving such a car. I found it amussing.VooDooMafia wrote:I understand what you are saying but I think the rims depend on the paint job as well as the car.
