I just got some 4.2 motors in the mail, but they came in the same box.. Which one is which? One has a white end bell with a E, and the other has a blue end bell like a ZZ motor.

Thanks for the help guys...

I amnot sure what it is torque or what not but in a normal 2 speed the car will run like 3.0 or bettter on low speed then make a big difference on high speed.

Withthe king or elvis I find teh low speed moves like a 1.0 or 2.0 at most.

Then is a fetted car they both work well but with the pro I find the car will outrace a non fet on low speed were the king has trouble keeping up on low.

The one with the blue end bell is nothing special.. I tested it in a 2 speed car, but the one with the E on it rocks the house.. Also tested in a 2 speed car.

Are you using it in a 2 speed chassis? TE says these things work better in a 1 speed chassis.. Not for me.

The ones I am using are all in fetted cars the other ones just sittin there in there boxes (or in the mail to you).

my non fetted cars dont get much play these days unless I am on a tech track but then I use the TC pink motor :)

That's odd now micromatch and Payayso have said they prefer the 4.2 to the pro. My Pro is noticebly more powerful in FETed, and non-FETed cars both. I 'm guessing there is some inconsistancies.

These motor all seem to get better the more you run them, but I don't know if that makes a difference.

The blue ZZ looking motor is the PRO?

If so I prefer the 4.2 king.. The blue one does seem to have more torque though.

all i can compare my 4.2 elvis to is the perfection 3.8. both are great.

id give the 3.8 3.5/5 for torque and 4.5 out of 5 in speed.

the elvis id give 3/5 for torque and 5/5 in speed

Oh well see that's starting to make more sense. I'm all about torque.

I think one of my 4.2 Kings is a dud, and the other 2 are in my Super-Bits, which seem to put out more power. I'll have to try one from Super-Bits to see if I like that any better.
