okay i wana start modifing bits or zipzaps witch one do u guys think is better for a newbie like me and whats better?

well both are worthy cars. i kinda like bits better but zipzaps can be made into some monster beasts. bits are a little cheaper and just as fun. i suggest getting cheap clones at first. heck some clones are just as good at half the price.

I'ld say start with a zipzap. You got more room inside the chassis to play with and if you play it right you can exchange it at RS if you screw up. :-)

alright this is what im going to do know, im guna get a clone at the mall for like $15 and then fool around wiht that once i get that down im guna do it to my SE

well have someone help you or be around then dude. always wash your hands after touching solder. open up the front end and find the servo. you will notice 3 wires and 3 posts going to it. one yellow wire will be on it's own post and two(blue/green) will be on the middle post. move green wire to the third lonely bare post.

you will nolonger have a twitch but i think it decreases battery life?. not by much tho. sorry i dont have any pics tonight.

ok, first off,
do u have a big lots where u live?
if u do, go there and pick up a 4 or 6 dollar clone, hehe
and if ur gonna do a dual cell, make sure the line up is like this-
