well it all stated when i got enough cars together for each person in my family (bsdes my dad)n i asked my mom maybe i should get every one out here in the family room to race? and so i got out my micro speed track (its no fun with my family un less you can drive over the tracks :-D ) and made one. so then i went in got both my bros and my mom to al come sit on the couch with me and have a family race! there were all terrible drivers yes. but that was the fun of it lol we ended up ding it for about 1 half hour driving around, racing, ramming into eachothers cars. all i n all we all hada great time and i highly suggest you guys try to organize some thing like this. its great fun

I've tried that.

Problem is, my wife really does hate my little cars, and refuses to drive one. I mean, I knew she though they were silly, but when it got to the point where she wouldn't play with with one when I begged/bribed her, then I realized, 'She really doesn't like 'em, does she?'

Then there's my 3yo, who will not let me play with my cars in peace. If he hears me playing with them, he goes and starts digging through my stuff, then pops out with one of my cars..."daddy, I wanna pray wit dis one" So sometimes I break down, and charge it up for him. Then he can only go forward and reverse. Doesn't get the hold the steering while pushing forward concept yet. So he picks it up, and turns the car manually, and for some reason, that just drives me up the wall. Then after about 10 minutes when his attention wanders, he starts pretending he's a big ol' car crushing dinosaur, and I have to kick his ass before he breaks one of the cars. End up with a headache, and my heart racing.

So I just keep the family away from my cars.

i love having my kid chase after my cars. good driving practice haha. normally she grabs a screwdriver and jabs it into a wheel well and says that she is fixing it.

I used the little cars to help my little girl crawl, then she goto the point that no matter the car or motor she could get them. So fets came into play lol.

My boys love there cars but they cont seem to grasp the concept of a race to then it who can do the most damage. The wife doesn't mind them but she licks the epochs more (I can see why) but she does have a bit at work for when shes not firing people.

See I think my family will really get into it soon :???: This is why I think this.

Xmas dinner for one side of my family is this Sat at my house. SO there will be about 20 people here or so. I am just to damn lazy to take the track down(on the dinning room table at the moment) so they will have to eat off of it. Its not much work moving it just have to move all the styrofoam walls and cliffs and move teh 2 pieces of 4'X4' but again this it to much work for me.

So we will see how that goes or if the wife puts up a fit about it lol.

My daughter and I race all the time. My wife on the other hand is kind of like Dave's. She pretty much hates them, cause I spend so much time on them. She has tried them out once, but kind of sucked at it, so she decided hating them would be easier. My nephew and neice like them, but they would rather have a demo derby than race. So I think my daughter and I are on our own
Our new christmas tradition is an all day race. Her favorite is cops and robbers. I built her a custom beetle, and bought her the Cat in the Hat Zip for Christmas, so It should be really fun this year.

hue35 and I ordered the 4 frequency/4 race skyline set from Toy East and got 2 of our friends to buy 2 of them from us at cost. We had 5 cars on the track at one time and it was fun as hell. These cars only begin to get fun when you start racing with other people.

My wife falls into the "hates them" category, and my son is still to damn destructive (destroyed 2 MW cars so far) so I have to hide my shit from him. :(

most of my family like them, my dad said to me he wants to get into them and mod them, that would be good because i would have more cars, i think the only person in my family that hates them is my dog he chases after them and bites them.

The daughter, boyfriend, and I raced on my track a while back. It was pretty fun, but I found out the track is too technical for consistent laps and close racing as intended.

For Christmas, I'm giving them a ZZSE car each, with a performance kit, and a Mercedes 500SL body kit.

And I'm going to rebuild the track to put in a wide sweeper, and chicane on the track, along with the banked turn..... A much simpler lap overall. Should make for some closer racing.

we used to have the bitPimps track setup at work.
3-4 of us would rip it up, trash talk, all of it - it was friggin awesome.
it was how I started getting seriously interested in these things.
talk about fun, man we got in so much trouble - we never worked, just raced so I had to take the track home lol

It will for sure... we've had the best racing on the simplest tracks. Even just a straight up oval makes for some great racing. I think the key is wide lanes... it gives you more room to recover from a small mistake without crashing. That way the action keeps goin'... good racing is the shiznit.
