As I type this I am doing it one handed. How often or what is the most/worst you ever cut yourself moddin? I am brandishing 3 nicks chopping the top for mah soon to be Del sol. This last one sliced through thumbnail and flesh. Damn I need to get rid of the razors.

About 8 years ago, I razored my hand at Cabos house (nice, and deep), and thought I should go to the ER, but that's a buzz kill...

We did the procedure on the spot with some CA tire glue, and it worked so good that I've been using it ever since.... :-D

Shit man, I've heard that doctors will use superglue instead of giving stitches in smaller cuts now days. So you probably just cut out the middle man.

I've sliced myself pretty good in the past with exactos, but I've been pretty lucky with my cars. Just little nicks here and there.

i jammed a hobby knife into the webbing of my hand once! absolutely no pain....til the next day!
and for all you trivia buffs, superglue was invented to replace stitches in the field during the vietnam war!

i almost did that, i was pushing down the the axle with the bit wheel really hard. i was thinking about what would happen if it were to give way, boy am i glad that wheel held tough. ouch man, that makes me cringe . what did you do to it, (in the line of treatment)

oh and once i was opening a bit clone case. there wasnt a screw driver near by. (me bieng a lazy ass) so i took a pair of scissors and started going at the screw, i was working great till after i was finished i noticed i sliced my thumb open. and it HAD to be my guitar pick thumb, i still have the scar.

I'm pretty sure that super glue was invented to treat cuts in the field back in world war II. :???:

"What is now marketed as Superglue (TM, patent pending, whatever) was invented in the UK as a replacement for sutures. That is what it was designed for originally, not a household adhesive."

Not quite. Although Superglue has been used with great success in place of sutures for certain medical procedures, the oft-made claim that it was originally invented for this purpose is false.

In fact, Superglue (known to chemists as "cyanoacrylate") was invented quite by accident. Twice. In both cases, scientists were trying to come up with new plastic compounds for use in applications such as gun sights and jet canopies, happening unexpectedly upon a formulation that stuck to everything it touched. The first time it occurred, during World War II, researchers regarded it as a nuisance. The second time, during the 1950s, a light bulb finally went on in somebody's head. It was first sold as a commercial product in 1958.
