i picked up this clone today from pep boys for 6 bucks and really just for the body, every one give me some ideas, I want to really do this little civic like body right, lets here it you guys!

how does she run? is it all wobbly?

turns wide and i hate that, the little lever is all the way to the left and the thang still want go straight, the motor is hard wired and the pc board looks like it was soildered by me instead of the guys over in china.
i guess with some tweaking i coould bring it around to sub standard.
I will prob put the body on another circle k clone which is an ok clone

the turning is caused by the crappy rear axle. reglue the wheels back onto the axle and it should go straight at least.

here we go i figured it out, this little rc has huge coils up front and does not leave much for the turning radius, like the magnet only moves a 1/16 of an inch to either direction, so to fix the turning i need to change them out to taller and thinner coils, The axle i pulled apart and it was rubbing at first, now is free turning, but the weak azz motor and the gearing makes it a dog no torque to say the least, top speed ok though, i would opt for the torque first on a single cell, if i dual cell it, it should fly like it is with the original setup. it gets pretty good range and i bet that with a little attention i could change the motor setup to one that is not hard wired and be able to change the motor out for something maybe 3.8 , in all this little rc will need so work, to make it right. but i love this body and was thinking ground fx and a sweet paint.

yup, that there body lends itself to the rice racer type style - go for it... dang lol (joe dirt accent)

man i had this accord wagen body that i thought i would strip the paint off and well i screwed up the plastic, so i ended up buying a body set from toy east this week, one clear and the other silver, to replace it. i like your green wagen cabo its real sweet.
