i got a pebble driveway and that went allright, spat a few rocks.
havent taken it do do some dust bowl fun yet, the weathers been mostly wet with hot days in between, i need some drytime before i let loose in the dirt.
it's a single cell superbit with a perfection 4.2. proper spring suspension as well as the show-off b.s ones. no other mods except monster lego wheels and airial extension. pops wheelies with reverse into forward and can handle jumps well.
the sbcg snap on front rims clip out after nasty collisions, nice feature. simulated steering snappage...

Nice... that looks mean and fun. What kind of lego kit had those wheels in it?

thanx hue, the kit was au$5 cheap as lego racer. had some shit about "drome racers" on it to. you gotta cut the tyres a bit for the front end and less for the back.
if you mount em on a spare sbcg set of rims its easily switched into a road racer in less than a minute.

Nice! That's one evil lookin' monster. I dig the flames.
Yeah, I'd also like to know what Lego set you Aussies are getting those wheels from. All the Lego kits I've seen had crappy wheels.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got the gig on the wheels.
You can order them direct from Lego. 24 wheels in 3 sizes for 8 bucks.

i got my lego wheels from my old collection. the old tyres are a hard compound but the newer ones seem to be fairly soft, so i've placed an order for the small wheelset. it also comes with some nice phat slicks which look like they would perform quite well!
nice work on that bad boy z beam!
hey

I gotta lot of those lego tires, Does anybody need any? (used to collect legos, now there in a box in my room) Let me know, I could sell them in sets for very low prices, just enough to pay for shipping and stuff. I got different types of tires and I can post pictures of some different types.
